Dad served several terms on the Assembly's Committee of the Sunday School Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, which managed and developed new projects and buildings for Ridgecrest and Glorieta.  Having worked on the staff at Ridgecrest myself for 3 summers, I am saddened by what has happened there. 

Lifeway’s Ridgecrest Baptist Conference Center now admits all types of cults and religious groups to use their facilities: from Mormons, to Episcopalians; from holiness groups with women bishops, to tattooed club singers; from auctions of wedding veils, to Native American Indian dances, to Hip-Hop and Rap singers, who have their personal political agendas.

By allowing these groups to use the Ridgecrest facilities, they have violated their own stated website policy concerning "The Baptist Faith and Message."
